Pellicano Boardroom Mural
Melbourne, Victoria | 2022
Commissioned by Pellicano, one of Australia’s leading property developers, this mural was created for their boardroom as a visual reflection of the company’s legacy in master building and architectural innovation. Working closely with the Pellicano team, I developed a bespoke design that captures the essence of construction; a balance of structure, vision, and precision.
This composition uses layered geometric forms, deliberately placed to evoke the process of building. Shape is placed upon shape, line upon line - as though the mural itself is being constructed in real time. The interplay of colour and form speaks to architectural rhythm: elevations, materials, and spatial planning abstracted into bold, simplified visual language.
The palette is refined and architectural - slate blues, warm ochres, deep burgundy, soft mint, and neutrals; offering a contemporary tone that complements the boardroom’s interior finishes. The mural not only enhances the space but reinforces Pellicano’s identity as a design-forward, detail-driven development firm.
Designed to inspire collaboration and big-picture thinking, the mural stands as a creative monument to the craft of construction. It is built not of concrete or steel, but of colour, rhythm, and abstraction.
